The Keystone Cops were braver than that. The Commission must be run by Obama appointees.
Then you are charged with dereliction of duty and face a disciplinary hearing. After which you will face a lawsuit for failing to act.
Wouldn't their defense be that they were following orders from the Commissioners. The Commissioners should be the ones facing the lawsuit.
Try that in a civil suit. You will hear. "Officer are you not trained on how to deal with all sort of circumstances? Why did you not act? It goes against Op Orders and Policy. Officer again, are you not properly trained on how to deal with all circumstances? Officer why did you run away? Officer why did you fail to act upon your sworn duties?
At the end of the civil trail, the officer is wiped out finically, the department is hit with a major settlement. The dumb ass political hacks get off scot free.
