Marco Rubio drops out of presidential race

• I'll tell you what, if the GOPe manages to wrangle the convention in a way that either Kasich or Ryan end up with the nomination, I would hope for a Cruz/Trump independent ticket. They would cream everyone.

  • All preferences aside, strictly from the perspective of a guy who loves to observe the political scene, I would pay good money to see a debate between Ted Cruz and Paul Ryan. Two bright guys, one representing constitutional conservative principles and the other representing the big-government ruling elite. Of course Granny DumbDumb would have to be on the stage too, unfortunately, but nobody would care what she has to say--it would be all about the clash between Cruz and Ryan. THAT might be as good as the Lincoln versus Douglas debates.

    • That would be interesting. I'd love to see Cruz make mincemeat out of those two.

• Kasich is the last best hope for the elite Rino's....I heard one of the republican rules comittee members this morning on the radio saying the convention runners "Pick" the candidate not the voters..What a humongous ass this guy was. Imagine letting the little people pick out a candidate, All those F*cking Reblublican elites pick out who we should vote for. The little people need not concern themselves with party business...sounds just like a communist organization doesn't it?

• If only this nimrod had dropped out a while back, when it was obvious to everybody except him that he couldn't win, Ted Cruz would be heading to the White House. We've had a race where Trump collects the irrational votes while a baker's dozen of nimrods splits the rational vote between them. It's a classic case of divide-and-conquer. Establishment candidates like Rubio ruined this whole election. I've never seen so many losers sticking like glue. Even in his biggest win yesterday, Florida, pretty much his second home state, Trump couldn't get to 50%, and every other win was a neck and neck race with Cruz even with Rubio and Kasich splitting the rational votes.

  If only they would all GET OUT and let Cruz and Trump battle it out!

• Kasich is next to go, it's clearly a two horse race. I'm not exactly crazy over those two horses but they're both better than the two jackasses on the left.

  • Kasich needs to drop out now. Just because he won his home state he believes he has a long shot at a brokered convention. He has no shot. The only thing he is now is a spoiler that will help Trump win. If Trump wins, I will vote for him in the general, but I would rather vote for Cruz.

    • Kasich is not going to drop out now, He won a state. He is going to be the elite Rino's choice, Soros is already backing him, and he will be getting money from the wall street boys that backed Jeb and Marco...He will be like Herpes, always there and no cure...
