Had a great Christmas.
On Christmas Eve, one of the guys that works for me, a single dad, came over with his 8 year old daughter to spend the Holiday. His parents are Jehovah's Witnesses, so they don't celebrate, and even told his daughter that Santa Claus isn't real. Thankfully, she still believes.
They spent the night, so she could open her presents when she woke up in the morning. It was great to have a little one in the house, since we don't have any grands yet.
I made French Toast and sausage for breakfast, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
I hope everyone else had at least as good a Christmas as we did.
Christmas is always better with kids around. Except this year my three-year-old grandson James decided he would CLIMB one of my two glass covered bookcases in the basement, in the process breaking one of the glass doors. I suppose I should be happy he didn't decapitate himself but frankly I was in the mood for at least a little decapitation after I saw the bookcase. And the little thug has my name!
