Michael Savage threatens to withdraw support for Trump over National Enquirer story. Savage says he has sources at the National Enquirer who tell him the story is false, and was carefully worded as innuendo to limit the magazine’s liability.

  • Trying to blame Trump for something the Enquirer did makes as much sense as blaming Cruz for something a superpac did. Both candidates have plausible deniability in this wife thing going on but everyone has decided to dump on Trump anyway.

If Trump should have known what the NE rag was going to do, Cruz should have known what one of his superpac's was going to do. People can't have it one way, life doesn't work that way. If they want to dump on Trump they should dump on Cruz too.

  • Carol Burnett won a sizeable chunk of change from the National Enquirer for pretty much the same thing--outright lies. Apparently these people don't learn. Since Hump likes to threaten lawsuits, perhaps Cruz should give him a taste of his own medicine. Of course Cruz has better things to do right now.

  • What happened to the comment I left here a few hours ago? I just stated that I am not a fan of his but I appreciate he is trying to show some integrity.

    • Two reasons I'm guessing Savage liked Trump: one, "build the wall," which is what the whole Trump campaign is built on, there isn't anything else; and two, Trump was willing to go on Savage's show and shoot the breeze. Repeatedly. Savage loves that. So many pols (like Romney, that big sissy) are afraid of going on his show. But really, when I used to listen, he's always very polite to guests. People shouldn't be so afraid of being a guest.

      • I had to quit listening to Savage. He tends to run "hotter" than even Glenn Beck! He always seems to make a valid argument or point, but most of the time he is yelling into the mic. I don't need that.
