Nancy Pelosi tells Trump to stay home for SOTU

Nancy Pelosi tells Trump to stay home for SOTU. In our opinion Trump should send her a two word reply. Word one starts with “F” and word two starts with “Y.”

CO2Insanity: Tired of the CO2 BS and all the other BS in the US and the world.

  • Piglosi didn't want the SOTU address to conflict with her over seas party. Now that Trump has told her to pound sand, she can go but has to pay for the trip herself, what is she going to do? It's going to be funny as hell to see how much class Piglosi has when she bangs her gavel and introduces President Donald J. Trump to the congressional chambers.

  • I would like to this moved to the Oval office and absolutely eliminate the obscene political theater. People that don't follow politics as intrepidly as we do just tune in, watch whoever the President is and see him being supported by his followers and rejected by the opposite party. It's absolutely SICKENING to watch, regardless of party affiliation. And WTH did Congress ( which is at, yet again an all-time low approval rating ) ever do to warrant such relativity?

  • Secret Service says she never contacted them. Also, this little plot has been in the works for months.

  • Nancy & Friends want to postpone this because they know that Trump will treat it like a campaign rally(and probably make young Ms. Ocasio-Kotex cry).

  • Personally, I think this is a great opportunity for Trump to end this stupid tradition... which I have argued before: The state of the State of the Union. It isn't a Constitutional requirement and it's become a partisan joke. I hope Trump takes her up on postponing it and then never reschedules it.

    • I thought there was a requirement to Update the congress periodically. If not have Mitch Invite him to the senate chambers, put the reps in the cheap seats up above and bring in a bunch of families of people killed by illegals, and federal workers who want the wall. Some of the demotards might have to stand in the back of the room....

      • "I thought there was a requirement to Update the congress periodically."

Yeah, but the Constitution doesn't say when or how. He could send a tweet and say he updated them if he wanted. Or post the update on the Internet and send them the URL. The update is completely irrelevant now. It was only important when it took weeks for a congresscritter to get to Washington and news was sometimes sparse or nonexistent where the congresscritter came from. But in 2019, in the Information Age, with instant travel, the Internet, and forty billion different databases on government activity publicly available, Congress doesn't need a stupid speech from the president to know what's happening. It's just phony, cheap, partisan theatre now.
