I remember, when Mr. Reagan died, and his body was being transported to, I'm not sure, the services at his museum, or his final resting place, but the cavalcade was heading down the 101 Freeway near Ventura. I was a truck driver then, and the entire freeway in the opposite direction came to a stop.
Everyone was out of their vehicles, standing at the center divider rail, many saluting, many more waving, quite a few just crying. After the hearse had passed, the traffic jam slowly broke up and started moving. But I'll never forget that moment. I'm sure Mrs. Reagan never forget either. May she rest in peace.
Thankfully, she is in a better place with her love.
God bless them both.

Ronald Reagan stands as the last best great President of this Country, and we all know that he relied on your steadfast love and support each and every day.

A nice, classy lady, versus the scum currently infesting the White House.
When President Reagan came into office, the country was in a deep funk caused by the Peanut. Interest on my farm operating note reached 22% and things were bleak. With President Reagan's optimism and the class way he and Mrs Reagan handled things, it turned around and we had a sustained recovery. The mockery of Mrs Reagan continues to this day and it just points out the lack of class of the small venal creatures who spew this bilge.
Oh what a terrible surprise seeing that this morning. Wonderful woman.
I'll be real, too young to really feel a personal big impact. Most of what I know about her and her husband is on books or news stories. With that said, I hope she enjoyed her life. May she rest in peace and her family finds consolation in Christ.
Damn, there goes one of the last few classy first ladies we had.
