Nasa is tracking a ‘potentially hazardous’ asteroid the size of the Burj Khalifa that will fly past Earth at a distance of just 200,000 miles. NASA should start worrying about this more and global warming less. If this hit it would drop Earth’s temperature by 8 degrees celcius (46.4 degrees Fahrenheit). Global freezing anyone?

  • Meh, nothing but a clickbait article and even if it was going to be 200K miles out, it isn't big enough to even do much damage to the moon if they happened to cross paths. Nothingburger.

This site is cool to check out, I visit there now and again.

  • I don't understand. The headline and first paragraph says it will come within 200,000 miles of earth. Then later they say 2,615,128 miles. 200k sounds like a squeeker, but 2,615,128? Meh.

  • That looks scary. What if a huge solar flair altered it's course. Maybe that's what they mean by, ‘potentially hazardous’

  • As large as the Burj Khalifa? I would be worried a lot more if it were the size of Michael More or Rosie O'Donut.

  • First, fire all the flunkies, appointed by Obama, who converted NASA into a Muslim-outreach agency. Currently, all they can do is issue a fatwa against the asteroid.
