• I was going to make a comment about this, but I forgot what I was going to say.

  • I'm only 62 and am experiencing the same symptoms.
    I've had to resort to making lists on Alexa so I remember what I went to the store for.

    • Alexa? My wife has one of those, but I keep forgetting it's name.

      • You remember you have a wife?

        • They just recently got married.

    • The other day I was measuring a cabinet in my garage, to see if I could move it to a different spot in the garage. I measured width and depth, walked over to the corner where I wanted it to go, and realized I had forgotten the width already, all I remembered was the depth. Shit. Walked back over and re-measured the width. Tape measure, which is almost as old as I am, got stuck and wouldn't retract. Fuck, fuck, fuck! Finally got it back in, walked over to the corner, realized I had forgotten the depth. No sense pissing and moaning about it, decided I would just write the damn measurements down this time, looked around for the pencil I was just using a few minutes earlier, couldn't remember where I put it. Said fuck it and took a break for lunch. Which was a Bud Lime from the garage refrigerator. When I forget where the garage refrigerator is, somebody just shoot me.

      • LOL Likely most of us here suffer from Old Timers.

    • When you forget what a store is, then you have a problem.

  • I experience "sometimers" on a regular basis...sometimes I remember what I went to the basement for...usually on the third trip down there.

    • I hate it when I go to the store for a specific item. I forget it, but buy several things I didn't need.

      • They still let you go to the store?

        • It happened just the other day. Had tortilla chips and wanted salsa for a dip but was out. Was low on a few other things and grabbed them but the salsa was what spurred me to go to the store. I know, I should have made a list. Funny, I remembered everything but the salsa.

        • I always make a list. Then I forget to bring the list.

    • I can't remember the last time I forgot something.
