This is highly disturbing...
He probably would do a better job dead than alive.
I remember when Democrats in Missouri kept deceased Mel Carnahan on the ballot so he could win the election and then they could replace him with his wife. So his wife was a U.S. senator for a year. But she lost in the special election to a Republican, so the ploy didn't work in the long run.
Here in South Dakota, the reddest of the Red States, a dead man was elected to the state legislature.
Hawaii did the same thing a few years ago. Kept the person on life support until after the polls closed.
That is absolutely corrupt and evil... but at the same time shame on people for not finding out the truth and shame on the media.
In four years he will probably get re-elected
Probably the result of straight ticket voting. With the exception of the libertarians I voted for, I could very well have voted for a dead republican or two.

Nothing new, look at the California legislature, the dead have been running the place for years...
300k or so people voted for Leland Yee while he was in the slammer. You could put Godzilla on the ballot in SF and they'd check the box if he had a D after his name.
I think Godzilla was female. It is hard to tell with lizards, but I think the story was that she was just trying to protect her young from nuclear testing.
I am talking about Gender Change Godzilla.
