Obama and other Democrats scream hysterically about seniors getting Social Security checks in the mail. When in fact almost nobody gets a Social Security check in the mail. You can always tell it’s an election year when the Democrats start screaming about Republicans endangering Social Security payments.

Actually, NOBODY gets SS checks mailed any more.
You MUST have direct deposit to receive SS.
When we took my Father In Law in to live with us years ago, that was the first thing they made us do.
Yeah, that's what I thought too from my own experience, but when I read the linked article it said there are special circumstances where they will send you a physical check. Maybe if you're living in Outer Mongolia and there are no banks nearby, or your religion doesn't allow you to utilize a bank, I don't know...
