Don’t forget. It’s the Republicans who are anti-science. You know, troglodytes who believe in a flat earth and think that Adam and Eve lived with dinosaurs and that the universe was created sometime back in about 1954.
But those enlightened progressives, they understand and cherish science and the advances it brings us.
So how about if you just ignore what President Obama said on Monday.
FOX Nation reports:
President Obama explained to NBC News that the reason companies aren’t hiring is not because of his policies, it’s because the economy is so automated. … “There are some structural issues with our economy where a lot of businesses have learned to become much more efficient with a lot fewer workers. You see it when you go to a bank and you use an ATM, you don’t go to a bank teller, or you go to the airport and you’re using a kiosk instead of checking in at the gate.”
Got that? Unemployment is caused by ATMs and ticket kiosks at airports. If technology is the problem, won’t more technology only make things worse?
Why if we could just go back to the horse and buggy days, everyone would have a job. Unfortunately, most of those jobs would be street cleaners responsible for sweeping up the vast quantities of horse manure in the streets, but what the hell, a job is a job.
This does demonstrate, however, how far we’ve come. Back before the invention of the internal combustion engine, all the horse manure was in the streets. Now it’s in the Washington, DC.

I'm not a gung-ho Ayn Randite, but what this lackwit is saying sounds EXACTLY what the lackwits in Atlas Shrugged say about building their new order -- no need for noisy expensive tractors when there are plenty of oxen still to be found.
ATM's are the problem?? The real problem lies within the Presidents brain housing group. This Econ 101 in high school. New technology is what this country needs, not to go backwards. His mentality/ideology is why this country is in the shape it is now. With that statement, maybe the "cotten gin" shouldn't have been invented and this would produce two more jobs in the cotton fields for his girls then. What a loser this guy is!

Let's not forget that he has an IQ of 160 which means that he is better than the rest of us. So if ATM's are the reason why our economy stinks to high heaven and there is a shortage of jobs, then that must be reason. Not the fact that his policies suck, no but the invention of the ATM. Wow, I did not know technology had advance so much just in Obama's first two years of president. Before that, with Bush at the helm I guess we were all in the dark ages, still toiling at manual labour. That would be Obama's claim to fame for his 2012 run, "I have advanced technology so much as president no one needs to work anymore and you can all come work for me as a govt. employee." I guess this is why so many illegals flood the USA from Mexico so they can work in robotics and the automated industries.
