Obama-era LED streetlights in Detroit that were supposed to last at least ten years… are already burning out and needing replacement after three years. Count on it: if you can think of something completely stupid that’s a total waste of money, the city of Detroit will do it.

Boeing has gone all LED on the new jets we're buying from them. Disaster. My o my, are they pretty and bright, but reliability is in the dumpster right now.
If you like your LED street lights you can keep your LED street lights...
More like they are being shot out by thugs.....And Detroitastan doesn't want to admit it...And politicians stole the money for replacements...
I travel by my old hood just about every morning on the Southfield Freeway on my way to work around the corner from the Lions training center. It's worse if I get routed through my old hood if the 96/Southfield interchange is all backed up. I keep hearing the news that Detroit is coming back. Problem they fail to mention time and time again, it's really only the downtown area. That is a relatively small portion of the city. The vast majority is a craphole. I'm glad I escaped 9 years ago when I did. One of the best things I did for myself to move out to the burbs. Too bad I didn't do it a decade earlierr.
