First of all... why is she asking strangers their personal business? The hell does she care what he is going to do? She's angry and wanted to take it out on someone. Pathetic.
Second the husband is clearly a puss* and very embarrassed to be there and paired with grief, he was useless in that situation... he should have told her to shut the hell up.
At the very beginning, the guy recording says that she's been calling him names and insulting him just for saying that he was there to celebrate. Arrogant, crotchety, bitter b!tch with a sense of entitlement.(Typical liberal)
Have to give the flight attendants some credit for doing their best to defuse the situation but when Old Mother Hubbard says "He is in my space.", I would have been like "Excuse me, did you purchase a ticket or the entire plane?"
And yeah, the husband is probably a wuss but he also might be anticipating her b!tching and moaning about the whole thing for the next week. Just a hunch but he had a "Here we go again" look on his face that makes me think he's been down this sort of road before with her. On top of that, he just lost his mother so he probably just wants to get home.

I am going to agree. A Conservative husband would have told her to be quiet, although I can't see a Conservative husband being yoked to that bitch for very long.
The husband looked like he was thinking, "Thirty years with this bitch and I can't stand another minute." But I don't blame him for not doing anything. There was nothing he could do at that point. Another angry shouting person isn't going to help. I'm a little less loyal than him: if my wife acted like that I would let them disembark her while I stayed in my seat. "Good luck, honey, hope you find another flight!" Then I would enjoy the time away from her, buy the Trump supporter a couple drinks, and appreciate the extra leg room.
