‘Pay a living wage’: Bernie Sanders accuses Disney of dodging fair pay. No matter what Disney pays it is better than the wages at Burlington College. Burlington College, if you don’t remember, is the institution that had to shut down after Bernie’s wife ran it into the ground. The Sanders were ok though, the college gave them a $200,000 golden parachute right before they went belly-up.

This douchebag is trying to hide behind "wives and children shouldn't be targets"? Bernie, when your wife BANKRUPTS a college where she is president and then walks away with a $200K severance package, in the private sector, she's fair game. The fact that you were running for president just added to the circus. This would have been big news either way.
Who is this silly old fart who thinks people can live on $15/hr?! Hey Bernie! Why don't you and Jane try this for a month or two? Let's see how well YOU do on $15 an hour. Then maybe you'll see that perhaps a "living wage" is closer to $35 an hour. Whatcha gonna do THEN?!
So you think the McDonald's worker who flips hamburger patties for a living deserves $35 per hour? Or the clerk at the local convenience store with the lip ring, nose plug, pierced tongue and tattoos all over who are to dumb to properly count your change back to you? I don't think so, they don't even deserve $8 per hour as far as I am concerned.
Why not raise the minimum wage to $500 an hour? You work for a year, make a million dollars, then quit and give your job to the next person and they become a millionaire. Poverty solved!
You jest. Sad truth is that most of these people that Bernie is trying to save from themselves wouldn't manage to show up a 40 hour work week. I'd wager most would barely make it to lunchtime on day 1 and go home sick.
