This is probably why the California numbers for infections look surprisingly good. If you are too incompetent to get the testing done, naturally you don't have coronavirus infections to report. The dumbass medical bureaucrats in D.C. interpret that as Californians are not getting infected, when in actuality it just means the infected are walking around spreading the disease because they don't know they're infected.
So sorry, the cdc thinks there are 330,891 in the us; check cdc.gov
Story is five days old. The numbers are much higher now.
I just looked at the current numbers: 17,000 pending nationwide, 14,000 of those are in California. So they are still leading the nation in not getting test results back.
5 days or not the point is California sucks.
Seems to me there's no point getting tested in California. With that kind of delay on getting test results back, you'll either be sick as a dog or feeling fine by the time you learn whether you had the virus.
Perhaps they put Caltrans in charge of the tests, so just one guy is doing them while the rest stand there and look stupid...
Back in the '80s when we had all the rain (like 82-83) the Daily Review had a photo of where the intersection at Hesperian and Lewelling collapsed. There were about 20 "supervisors" standing there watching one guy in this huge ditch with a shovel. I've wished I had saved it because I can't find it now.
No, no, you just think you saw 20 supervisors watching. I know California better than that. You saw 10 supervisors watching, the other 10 were consultants telling the supervisors what to watch.
