Polar bear population up 27%

Polar bear population up 27%. But of course polar bears are still listed as a threatened species by the politicized U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, regardless of how well they’re doing. As JPAttitude pointed out seven years ago, the polar bear listing by USFWS was never about saving bears.

  • When liberals can't dispute the facts, they personally attack the source of the facts. Usually with sophomoric insults. It's a pathetic and desperate tactic, especially in this case because neither I nor the writer of the linked article are the source here. The source is multi-year studies of polar bear populations participated in by every wildlife organization involved in monitoring polar bears, most of whom are ardent AGW alarmists. Studies, by the way, which are available in multiple media sources if you want to try disputing the numbers... which of course you won't because A) you don't have the intelligence and B) you know the numbers are correct.

  • How long have I been saying that the polar bear population was about 5,300 about 55 years ago, & is now around 27,000? Anyone doing the "climate change" thing on the gov't dime needs to be investigated for fraud, because that is what this entire scam is. They needed a mascot for their socialistic cause, & picked the polar bear. If anything, it is the seal population that should be worried about, because that is what these monsters kill & eat.

  • Wait, didn't I see a bunch of these during POTUS's speech to congress the other night? I mean, in this exact pose, like sitting on their hands!

  • In other news: bird-choppers are still chopping birds, but that's OK, because the birds aren't vegan and exhale CO2. Frankly, they deserve it. A hundred million years they've been trying to destroy this great planet and now Gaia is fighting back. So, take that, California Condors. Millions of dollars spent on saving your pathetic species and you couldn't even be bothered to adapt to a vegan and carbon-free lifestyle. So much for gratitude.

    • Phil Jones from East Anglia University should be in that list as well. He was part of the Climatgate scandal that most of the MSM ignored.

  • I'll be darned! Animals adapt to changing conditions, including their climate; who could possibly have suspected that?
