The magical thinking required to eliminate Islam from the conversation about Pulse or any other terror act committed by a Muslim is something I cannot wrap around my head.

Question: If Islam is so awesome and welcoming why exactly did he wear a false face and was called something else so no one would recognize him? He should have no fear to come forward and show his face, it is not like he did anything wrong and if he truly believes Islam is awesome and would never hurt him, he should have no fear of any Muslim targeting him for being gay/involved (or saying he was) with the terrorist.
