Call this one dumb and dumber. Or maybe weird and weirder.
Fox 5 anchorwoman Rosanna Scotto and the rest of the Good Day New York morning crew were discussing the National Milk Producers Federation’s position a product should only be called “milk” when it comes from an animal, but not when it’s made from vegetable products like soy or rice.
Well, the question was asked, if you can’t call soy milk “milk,” what should you call it?
“Soy jism!” Scotto announced.
The live banter continued, but the look on the face of co-anchor Greg Kelly is priceless.

Yeah, I'm wracking my brain trying to remember how and why I even know that word. Oh! That cranky landlady in the Dan Ackroyd movie version of "Dragnet" said it, and my kids splained me what it meant, that's how.

I was scratching my head thinking what was the big deal about what she said. Then I did a google search. Eww.
Before you start calling me stupid, I am not that well versed on english slang for body excretions. That is so because I usually do not dwell in vulgarity, and I tend to call things by their given appropriate names. As most adults would. She is a vulgar lady and seemingly a bit immature at least in the ways on how a new anchor should express herself.
With that said all the San Francisco references make a great deal of sense now.
Now that is a product for San Francisco!

She said it on purpose. It was a low-risk programming and advertizing test case: Would the world chuckle fondly and briefly if a news achorwoman said JIZM on live TV?
We passed! More of same, and worse, is on the way. One more bodily fluid can now play a part in all Reality TV, and in TV ads, and on the "news" to draw bigger audiences.
Where are the questions online as to what consequences she paid for saying that? I see not one! So it's OK then? OOOOOK then.
On an unrelated note, "Charlotte Corday" is one of my favorite Al Stewart songs.
