Rosenstein to Leave Justice Department Next Friday, Sources Say. Yes we know it’s another “sources” deal but if true it’s about time. McCabe may have ratted some good stuff. We’ll see this Sunday.
Following the Senate confirmation of William P. Barr to be Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is planning to exit the Department of Justice next Friday, according to three DOJ officials who are familiar with his plans and ongoing conversations inside the department.
Rosenstein, 54, initially planned to stay at the Department of Justice for several weeks to ensure a smooth transition for his successor,
Jeffrey Rosen, however, he is quietly working to exit the DOJ next Friday after a scathing interview was given to “60 Minutes” by former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. Mr. McCabe, in an interview scheduled to air on Sunday, said that Mr. Rosenstein considered invoking the 25th amendment to oust President Trump in addition to possibly recording the commander-in-chief, directly contradicting a forceful denial issued months earlier by Rosenstein.

If you are a prosecutor in this country, or have ever been a prosecutor, you are immune from the laws the rest of us live by. I've been watching this for years. This is why Mueller is so out of control. Prosecutors at every level are out of control. They break the law with impunity because they know nothing will happen to them. If a judge reads them the riot act, they just shrug their shoulders and find a new judge. They will prosecute a cop to the nth degree if it's politically popular, to the ruination of the cop's financial life even though he was innocent and a jury finds him innocent, but a prosecutor? Nobody will touch them. These people you want charged are all current or former members of the AG's office. Even the FBI agents are all headquarters personnel who worked closely with the AG's office, not cops per se. You think McCabe ever investigated a real crime as a cop? Hell no. They are all immune, trust me, because none of their fellow prosecutors will take the job of prosecuting them.
That is why the suggestion of a military tribunal. As for ruining a good officer's life. I've seen it first hand.

As I am not an attorney nor have I played one on TV. I will defer to the likes of you JP and Mr. Dershowitz. He has been vocal that all of this was an attempted coup. In an attempted coup, those who participated in it face grave consequences.
I can't remember exactly and I'm too lazy to look it up, but I believe McCabe went to law school. Like many people in the Hoover building, THAT was his qualification for being hired by the FBI. I have never been able to figure out why the FBI thinks that's a good qualification for being an agent. Accountants, too. They hire a lot of accountants. I was an accountant. I'm the last guy in the world you want to hand a gun and tell him to go after bad guys. Sheesh, it's just stupid. What does a guy know about investigating crime when he graduates from law school? And those idiotic FBI guys from law schools, THOSE are the guys who were conspiring with the AG's office to overthrow the president, because they think they're so damn smart. And they're lawyers so they and the AG's office are bosom buddies. The whole thing makes me so mad I can't see straight.
From what I've read these days they're mostly lawyers.
Listen to this, it's gonna piss you off even more: "The FBI has five entry programs that you must qualify for before it will consider you for appointment as a special agent: Accounting, Computer Science or IT, Diversified, Language and Law. While you don't have to be a practicing attorney to be qualified for the Law entry program, you do have to have a law degree. You do not, however, need to have a law degree to qualify for the FBI's other four entry programs." Do you see what is missing from that list? LEOs! Being a LEO is not one of the five qualifications for being hired as an FBI agent! No wonder they are just about the worst crime investigators on the planet. They're a bunch of college grads with no practical experience trying to catch criminals, and heads full of the leftwing mush you generally pick up while getting a college degree. It should be no surprise the place was a breeding ground for a leftwing coup of a Republican president.
What they should be doing is head-hunting full time at the best police departments around the nation, gathering proven investigators and giving them the big federal bucks to do what they already know how to do. And anybody who's ever read the history of the FBI knows, THAT'S HOW THEY STARTED. They started out hiring proven cops from local and state police departments. I don't know how they got side-tracked into hiring all those dumbass lawyers, but it's destroyed them as an institution and evaporated any semblance of integrity.

There's at least 10 to 20 FBI and Justice Dept employees who need to go to the work farm, ASAP. There also needs to be a complete revamp of the FBI, Justice department, CIA and NSA to eliminate the stink of Obama/Clintonism.
