I never liked that damn cat when I was kid. When he came back to the house in a second book I was like, "Someone needs to shoot that damn cat." And he was black... but he had a white face. So what does that mean? Am I racist or not?

When you point out to the clowns on the left that the Nazis did the very same thing back in the early 30s they go nuts. When you ask them about Mao's cultural revolution and what all his bloated ass did, they only reply with name calling. The librarian deserves to be fired, but in Progressive Cambridge that will never happen.(Notice how cloyingly superior she sounds when describing her school in the rejection letter). Surprisingly, the School District disavowed the rejection immediately and stated that it wasn't up to the librarian to decide what gifts the district would accept. Antifas from Harvard will soon take to the streets to protest that racist, facist decision, and with any luck the whole town will burn to the ground by Monday.
The world we live in is so weird that I can absolutely see leftists saying that the practice of not banning books was "fascist".
The world is truly weird. The librarian is nuts and the first lady... why in the hell is she giving books to one of the wealthiest school districts in the country? And a place so leftwing she won't get any political benefit out of it? There are schools in East St. Louis where they have raw sewage in the basement hallways. Give them a damn book, Melania!

She should have given this librarian Michelle Obama's book "I Am Michelle Obama: The First Lady" and watched her head explode.

It's astonishing to me how hard the left is working to find stuff to be upset about. Quite enjoyable to see them get lathered about nothing.
Trump does so many things that are crude and questionable. But the left, because the left can never pick their battles, always leave him smelling like a rose. I mean come on, "banning" Dr. Seuss is how a librarian is going to play this?
And I use the term "banning" as the left does. By which they don't mean actually stopping things from being published or prohibiting people from consuming media (as HRC has been trying to do with her crusade against Citizens United), but rather they consider "banning" to be failing to use taxpayer money to provide copies of things or not forcing kids to read certain books through a reading list.
