See Chappaquiddick! We just got back from seeing this film. It is excellent. Send a message to Hollywood. Go and see it for yourself while it is still in the theaters.

  • I was raised in a democrat family that worshiped the Kennedys like some kind of gods, all in on the Camelot/American royalty nonsense and all that.

    As I aged and started thinking for myself, it was pretty clear what a scam the whole family was/is. People let a lot of their crap slide because they were an "iconic" American success story.

    Bull. Shit. They milked the system with their name for all it was worth and more. Maybe there's a reason so many of them met "untimely" ends.

  • Some leftard fag by the name of Neal Gabler that is writing a biography of the Liar of the Senate had an op-ed in the NY Slimes that this movie is character assassination of this alcoholic corpse. How would you assassinate the character of someone with an absolutely corrupt, evil character? By telling people the corpse was a sober, chaste, righteous angel that opposed abortion with all his might? Because if you told people he was a booze hound, a serial adulterer, a traitor, and a murderer, you would just be telling the truth.

    • People on the left live in an alternate reality. Facts that we all know, like the Kennedys were an organized crime family, JFK was a drug-addicted skirt chaser who dishonorably abandoned the Bay of Pigs invaders, Ted was a drunk who left a young girl to drown in an overturned car, etc., just don't exist in their minds. For people on the left, the Kennedys represent their Camelot and that's all there is to it.

      • Don't get me started on the Kennedys. I get all giddy every time one of them kills themselves or dies. Remember when dipshit Jr augered his airplane into the water? I do, with glee.

        • I read a couple of places that Jr was about to declare as a candidate for POTUS and was therefore Arkansided. It was said that Jr was too experienced a pilot to take off without enough gas to get to where he was going.
          Certainly not out of the question with Slithery's background.

          • Truth is he was barely qualified to fly the plane he crashed. He didn't run out of gas, he experienced spatial disorientation at night and augered in. His training record indicated that he was a difficult student and pushed to fly bigger faster planes before he was ready. More money than sense and qualification seemed to be a pattern in his pilot training. Ego kills a lot of young wealthy pilots. I'm legally qualified to go fly a plane at night. But, I know better than to try it without a flight instructor and a lot more training!

          • I do not like to fly but I met a man in a bar who retired as a pilot and tended bar for the fun of it. He owned a Cessna 185 and he talked me into going flying with him one night when I had a few to many. He had been a pilot then an instructor for almost 40 years. The man was so calm, so cool, that the first time I went up with him I wasn't worried. He kept asking me, are you OK? And I was. When we got up, just cruising around, he said you can drive a truck, yes I can. Then he said you have run every kind of heavy equipment known to man. Yes I have. Then he let go of the controls and told me you can fly a plane! Just grab the wheel, put your feet on the pedals and you can do it! I almost wet my pants. But I grabbed the wheel and away we went! I flew with that old man many times in the next couple years, had a blast. Lol...The first time he said take off, get us in the air, I let the wings dip, I wasn't holding steady. He just grabbed the wheel, hit the pedals, got us straight and away we went. I miss that old man, he is gone now. But we had some great times together. And funny thing is, I have no problems flying in a small plane. It's the airports, the huge aircraft, all the TSA bullshit that I can't stand.

          • It works the other way too. I was in truck driving school 6 years ago. One of my fellow students - half a generation younger than me - was a commercial airline pilot. He said he was tired of the scenery and wanted to see the country up close.

          • I built highways from California to West Virginia. Built dams in New Mexico and California and South America. Built bridges in the north east and in the deep south. And what I learned? Most folks are just folks, trying to get by like everyone else.

  • It will be interesting to see how this does at the box office compared to the spate of overtly political screeds produced by Progressiveland over the past decade. I predict it will gross more than all of them put together.
