  • I live in Richmond, VA. We have hot and very humid summers. The temperature today (July 29th) is 68 degrees and rainy. We have had a very cool summer this year.

Last year was also nice but at one point for 4 days in a row we had temperatures in the triple digits. On Yahoo and MSN they were running stories about the heat wave in Virginia because of global warming that was causing triple digits. I have lived here all my life and we HAVE triple digits here ALL the time. Summer will have 101, 102 days. Sometimes for a week, then a little break then it goes back up again, then down again etc. Some years have more hot days than others. But remember last year actually had less days in the triples. I was upset at the blatant lies told in the article, triple digits are the norm here and they were making it out to be some rare event. Grrrr.

  • A sharknado will happen on the day I am riding a unicorn down the streets of D.C. to be inaugurated as president.

  • Just when I thought they couldn't be any more stupid there they go raising the bar again.

Yeah, I'll keep an eye out for falling sharks here in Indiana and warn family and friends back on the east coast.

  • Wait a minute - I thought "Sharknado" was a documentary. How disappointing.
Also, what kind of a name is 'Thunder' Levin?
