Six rebel electors have signed an agreement to try to block Donald Trump from securing the 270 Electoral College votes needed to become president. Is this even legal? (Not changing votes but signing this agreement).

It is evident that Trump's campaign had a rust belt strategy that crumbled Hillary's blue wall, decisively handing him the electoral votes needed. He and his campaign would have used a different strategy and worked just as hard to get the victory with the popular vote if needed. He even thinks the popular vote would have been bigger and easier. I'm sure he and his strategist would know.
The right has been put in position to destroy much of what the left has worked decades for. They can't stand to see it crumble just like that blue wall.
I would think it is illegal to not vote according to the popular vote in their state. But for damn sure it is illegal to sell their vote as you can damn well bet they did.
