• Great minds think alike! I also started dumping oil stocks a year ago and dumped the money into an indexed annuity. I'll give it 6 months then start moving back into oil and gas stocks but I'm about done playing the game. IBO's, muni's and annuities will keep me good for the rest of my life with a lot less risk and headaches.

• I have been warning everyone about this. It is long overdue. It's also why I moved everything we had invested into interest bearing accounts and indexed annuities, when the Dow was over 18,200. I also hope they find the bottom fast, so I can move a percentage back into the market for a while.
  From what I have seen, oil just might be the place to put your money soon.

  • Way, WAY overdue. It's been running on interest-free money that brokerage houses having been taking advantage of, and little else. And the other markets aren't looking any better.

• I wrote over on AoS during the SOTU when Preznint Shit Midas said the economy was roaring that the DOW would drop 1000 points the next day. It only when down 400. However, I think my prediction will happen within five days of actual trading.

• Ok, so who is Quagmire going to blame this time. Odds are he'll be blaming the RINOs, even though they gave him everything he wanted.

  • Because he blames the GOP for everything, he won't blame the Chinese economic bubble bursting, the end of QE as a means to fuel the markets, the ACA, Dodd-Frank and other laws and regulations that hurt business, record high tax collection, and left wing politics and policies around the world that proved to be unsustainable without incurring massive debt. The piper needs to be paid. Let's hope we find the bottom fast.
