The banana peel that ate Mississippi

The banana peel that ate Mississippi. University of Mississippi students were attending a three-day retreat designed to “build leaders and bring the campus together” when one banana-eating lout, too lazy to find a trash barrel and unwilling to throw his peel on the ground, stuck it in a nearby tree. Black students immediately decided it was a threat, which sparked a day-long discussion about racism, and then everybody left the retreat in tears.

  • No, the race baiters will not be taking bananas from us. They are one of the greatest gifts to humanity that nature has to offer. The Cult of Perpetual Victimization will just have to find another fruit to oppress through their absurdity.

  • Everything done today hurts someone's feelings, lowering their self esteem. Guess what flakes, get over it, suck it up and deal with it. If you get your feelings hurt now, wait until life kicks the living crap out of you, or better yet, wait until real evil is at your door. Then cry about racism, micro-aggressions and anything else that you wish to.

  • Dear snowflakes triggered by the banana peel in the tree, here is a refund of this semester's tuition. Please take it and return home. Your skin is far too thin to withstands the rigors of academic life and the challenge of new ideas. Should you wish to return to the university at some point, please submit a letter requesting reinstatement along with a 3,000 word essay on the stupidity of trigger warnings and micro-aggressions.

  • Thankfully, THESE are the type of people the 15 year old MEN who were rescuing people in Houston will be competing with in the REAL world.

    • Yes, he was a less-famous Confederate general who led the less-famous charge up Ice Cream Hill, a battle which caused a split in the Union lines and left behind a sprinkling of nuts. If you're interested, you can view a fictional rendering of this battle in the less-famous movie Gone With The Fudge.

        • Is that the one where the U.S Army whipped the cream outta.them grit eatin' greybacks with their butterscotch lacings?

      • Posts like this drive me nuts. I'm split between believing this and not. I think if ice cream "baloney" you'll be offended. If I agree, everyone thinks I'm bananas. I best just dessert the thread before things get messy.
