The Weekly Standard expected to shut down

The Weekly Standard expected to shut down. In our opinion the never Trumpers here (and elsewhere) have put themselves in a strange position that is now untenable. The left isn’t going to read them, nor are the Trumpers. It appears that perhaps they didn’t have enough of an audience to make advertising pay off.

  • I'm wondering if the National Review will be joining the Weekly Standard. I had subscribed to NR for over two decades before letting my subscription lapse in 2017. The anti-Trump screeching in that magazine got old after reading the same thing for two years.

  • There was also a story in the news about liberal sites having to go to paywalls, merging or shutting down, they admitted that they all say the same (bullshit) and the audience doesn't visit the websites like they use to...Even libtards are getting tired of the screaming leftard media..

  • Krystol can now wipe the smug ass smile from his face. Seems that the inside the beltway clowns are paying for their "attitude" toward those of us who have figured out where the problem lays. Right there along the Capital Beltway (I95, 495/395 I66, I270).

    Will the gig over at the cellar dweller network (CNN) come crashing down as well? Sure hope so.
