Top US naval intelligence officer barred from seeing classified naval intelligence. And not just lately: it’s been that way for over two years. The amount of incompetence in the Obama administration is approaching infinity.

  • If the top Admiral in Naval Intelligence can't see the information, why do we need a Naval Intelligence Department?

  • Yeah, this is an old story. Made the rounds last year. It's part of a larger corruption issue. Thing is, so far, there is no real push to charge him with anything. His name was merely mentioned in connection with the corruption, which included a member of NCIS. It would make more sense to replace him 18 months ago, when it became clear they weren't going to give his clearance back anytime soon, than keep him onboard.
