Any wonder why I never got on Twat?
That was the point: to evoke a strong negative reaction.
Here's what Twitter is about to discover: there are gradations of free speech in this country. In some cases free speech does not exist at all, but in other cases speech is considered so crucial to the survival of the republic that it receives the highest protection possible from the courts. And political speech is the one type of speech that receives the highest possible protection, even higher than what newspapers and journalists get. Public entity or private entity, you cannot stop a politician from saying what she wants to say. Marsha Blackburn can now make Twitter her bitch if she wants. Two seconds after she enters a courtroom she wins.
Not to mention that video is all over Twitter now.
