I'm getting ready to upgrade from a gas F-250 to a 4wd Turbo-Diesel F-350 Lariat. It seats 6 and has an 8 foot bed, and gets 8 mpg. Gotta do my part to keep the environment warm!
My F-350 Turbo Diesel, although only 2-wheel drive, gets around 22 mpg when I'm not pulling a trailer. I don't think I'd buy one if if only got 8.
What year is yours? I don't actually know what it gets, but I did read that was the average. There is a Bully Chip that is supposed to raise it up by about 10, which brings it 50% above what I'm getting on my F-250. For some unknown reason, there are no actual mileage ratings available.
