      • LOL...I remember a few of those ass whuppings. Us boys thought dad was a mean SOB when we were growing us and all of us felt the end of his belt. It wasn't until I was grown, and my brothers were the same way, that we understood this man with an 8th grade education worked his ass off to make sure we had a home to live in and food on the table, was trying the only way he knew to teach us how to be men. Must have worked pretty good too, none of us boys ever asked anyone for something we didn't earn. We all made our own way.
