Let him move to Mars. I'll okay us to pay for it. A one way trip and let him be king of his own planet, until the air, water, and food run out...then he becomes a not so fond memory. And the rest of us won't have to pay to keep Solar city and Tesla alive.
Oh goodie, by spending hundreds of millions of dollars Elon Musk and SpaceX have almost achieved the payload capacity of the rockets NASA was using in 1966, the Saturn 1B. We're only 50 years behind.
Saturn 1B - payload to low earth orbit, 18,600kg
SpaceX F9 - payload to LEO, 13,150kg

The federal subsidies he's been getting at Tesla ($7,500 per car) are going to run out eventually and with a Republican congress it's unlikely he will get a new round of subsidies. It's gonna be ugly at that point. Maybe that's why he's trying to move to Mars.
