There hasn't been a draft since Vietnam anyway, correct? Nixon ended it and right now people are just required to register for the SSS in case of a war that requires more personnel than available, or something like that.
I think Carter reinstated the SSS before he left office because of the USSR's poking around in Afghanistan if I remember right.
Anyway, most women cannot physically handle the stresses of combat like a man as well as some health issues specific to the female gender. There are also possible sexual harassment issues similar to ones hat have occurred in coed school showers.
The Feminazis just got more of that equal rights they have been after....
As all of you know I am a veteran and will be the first to say women do have a place in the military. But not in combat positions! They make fine clerks. They can be great radar techs. One granddaughter is in the Navy now training on how to be an air traffic control tech on a carrier. Another granddaughter has been in the Air Force doing who knows what for 6 years, she can't even tell me. But they are not on the front lines trying to be combat soldiers! Women do have a place in our military, doing the important jobs behind the lines to free up the men who can do the actual fighting.
My point is women should be drafted just like the men if they want this equal opportunity crap but only so they can serve in non-combat situations. They can serve honorably in support positions just as well without risking their lives or the lives of the men protecting their ass in a foxhole.
Whiskey please let your granddaughters know there are many who appreciate what they are doing
The Israels put women in the front line positions to only find out that the males with them did all they could to protect them. I agree women have a role in the military but in the front lines is not a place for them.
