IHTM FOREIGN CORRESPONDENT: Blatant corruption in the Senate. Hey, wait, this corruption is in Canada’s Senate. It’s universal. And when I say universal I mean that when we finally contact life somewhere else in the universe, we’ll find out that its government is corrupt, too. IHTM readers can follow our foreign travels at JimandJamie.com.

There is a difference in scale; $90,000 would be considered chump change in the US Senate.
They carry that much cash just to tip the interns.
Captain Renault is shocked! Shocked to find government corruption exists wherever governments do!
LOL! I'm happy to see Jim took my advice. I asked him to post stories about corrupt politicians, just not ours.
Corrupt - n. morally bad; evil; wicked
"Government at its best is a necessary evil, at its worst, an intolerant one"
-Thomas Paine
So government = corruption.
Think about it. A person decides that he wants to spend his life not producing anything of value to be exchanged with others voluntarily, but rather controlling the lives of others while forcibly extracting money from them with at best minimal exchange. What kind of person thinks that way? Landing in the field of outright corruption is a very short trip.
