3 Fallacies in Obama’s Public-Sector Stimulus Strategy. Paying people to do busy work won’t revive the U.S. economy. “Every (unsubsidized) job in the private sector exists because it generates more in wealth or value than it consumes in resources—and hence grows the economic pie. That’s not the case with the public sector.” Why Marxist economics fails – too many pie-eaters, too few pie-makers.

You mean taking money out of the economy to pay useless government functionaries, that neither produce, or administrate the production of, anything tangible, won't fix the economy?
What you're telling me is that people that produce tangible goods, provide useful services (repairing plumbing, serving meals in a restaurant, etc), or administrate these goods and services, are where we have to look for a boon to the economy?
NAH! That's crazy capitalist talk!
BLASPHEMER!
I'm so ashamed of myself. :-D
Just don't let it happen again.
