What is particularly sad is that originally, the guy who started BofA created it as a bank for the little people, the average joes that the big banks wouldn't touch. He proved they were trustworthy and deserved the same interest rates and ability to borrow for homes, businesses, etc as the rich guys. Over the years, they have completely forgotten their roots and mission in the pursuit of profits at all costs. Very sad.

I had a mortgage with them, they sold it or transferred it to Greentree, One of the worst fucking companies on the planet, and guess what, Greentree is owned by B of A thru a company called Walters. B of A owns the majority stock, Google Greentree and you'll see now over 50,000 consumer complaints. The place is a mess, I have been battling with them since the transfer, they refunded a payment cause I pay more than the minimum, then tried to charge me for being late, I made a double payment, they took part of one payment for late fees and still show me as late. It's gotten to the point where I got the California Department of Corporations and my congressman in the act. They get their marching orders from B of A and I will never do business with either one again. You know what the difference between B of A and the Mafia is? One is a criminal enterprise that steals money, lies and refuses to play by the rules, the other one is a bunch of old Italian guys who sell dope.
NSS, you need to get the State Banking Comission involved.
My wife used to work for a mortgage company, and she always said that there were people coming to her asking how to file a complaint against whatever lender they had at the time. She said the Banking Comission usually gets the best results because they have the power to revoke your banking license in that state.
I quit banking with them when they almost got my truck repossessed by bouncing checks when the money was in the account. That was in 1976.
Wasn't Bank of America already the one that constantly had all the fraud and criminal issues on the global market? I looked it up on google and apparently they ran their own survey which found they had the least fraud of any bank - which they picked from.
Now they waste taxpayer money to move your jobs overseas.

I quit banking with them when they announced that they were going to give credit cards to illegal aliens. Since they don't have a legit SS card, what makes you think they're going to pay the CC bill?
