307,000 veterans died awaiting Veterans Affairs health care, report says. It’s more important to spend $billions on faux global warming than take care of the people who make it possible for us to live free. Obama is disgusting, so’s the bullshit artist he hired to improve the VA.

  • A small price to pay so that millions of illegals get the finest health and medical care, EBT, WIC, SNAP, free educations, and Section 8 housing.

  • "Disgusting" is far too mild a term to describe this; 'obscene' is a little closer to the mark, but still not sufficient. I suppose it's too late now to impeach BO for presiding over this shameful treatment, but I'd like to see the GOP give it a try anyway.

    • How about an Obama generated pile of shit?

      That works for me.
At the VA Hospital I go to, they decided to spend millions on a multi level parking garage, instead of improving the rest of the facility.
There is also a hospital that was closed nearer to me than the VA Hospital, which they had discussed taking over and using to service the huge Veteran population in my area, but they so far have refused to do or say anything about it, despite my congressman's pushing for this.
This hospital would make a huge difference in the treatment availability in my area. As it is, it's about 40 miles drive for me to get to the existing one in Tampa, and there are many more who travel much farther than I do. I would think it would be much more cost effective to take over a recently closed facility than to build a new one.

      • How about eliminating the entire VA hospital system, and just giving veterans health insurance that they can use at the doctor or hospital of their choice?

        • That makes too much sense, and takes control out of the hands of the government, so you know it will never happen.

        • Thatseems cheaper, more efficient, and vastly easier for the Vets. We have vets from the Rio.Grande valley that have to come to SA for treatment. That's roughly an 8 hour drive one way.
