These we just the fat ones who got stuck in the pipe, the other 500 who made it thru are already enrolled in college, collecting welfare from Kaliforna and applying for a drivers license and Medi-Cal card......
And 3 of them have already won the California Lotto, taken the cash payout, and went back to Mexico without paying any taxes!!

From my extensive experience with LEGAL Mexicans I've worked with in construction all my adult life, the correct spelling is Sancho. Some of them have even used this as their nickname for me, the lone gringo on the crew at times.
By the way, my lady and I both signed the petitions for recalling AB 131, the second part of California's Dream, (nightmare), Act today. And she still insists that she's a liberal. I'm still working on her. Now we're working on recalling Brown.
THank you for correcting me RHG. The last construction job I worked, it was the same thing except no one but me spoke English and I don't speak spanish. I also earned half $$ of what I made in that field from 10 years back due to SANCHO & crew and no one was a greencarder.
Not even really a correction, Likwid. Just saying that when you're working with a tight crew, we all have nicknames for each other, and sometimes I was called Sancho. Some of the nicknames aren't to be repeated in polite company. And I made quite good money, it was union construction, everybody spoke English, we were all citizens, we all knew our jobs quite well, and I was the foreman most of the time. And I never did sneak off and visit any of their homes while they were working.

Sancho is the term used for the guy that is "visiting" your wife at your house, while you are at work. As in, "you need to Mamacita happy so Sancho don't start coming by for a visit." Not a term of endearment, more like calling someone an SOB actually.
I always knew what it meant, and when you're working with a good crew, with good friendships, we often call each other things that would be considered an insult if somebody outside that group called us that.
The peso is more stable...
