55% of Americans join us in saying, “I hate the media.” According to a new Gallup poll, “The majority of Americans still do not have confidence in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly. The 44% of Americans who have a great deal or fair amount of trust and the 55% who have little or no trust remain among the most negative views Gallup has measured.” ‘Bout damn time, people.

All the blather about Fox News and only 13% of the nation thinks the media is too conservative. So little about how biased to the left the media is and that is what almost half the country thinks.
Yeah, well the 44% with a "great deal or fair amount" of confidence is misleading. How many said "great deal" and how many said "fair amount"? Because to me, "great deal" means pretty much "I believe almost everything they say" while "fair amount" is almost a shoulder-shrug, as if to say "I'm wary of them."
I think it's more telling that 47% said the media is too liberal, 36% said just right and 13% said too conservative. This tells me that a little over a third think the media is neutral or objective. Almost HALF thinks they are biased to the left.
