Obama: Government ‘made this country great.’ Finally, something we agree upon with the President. Providing he’s talking about the government we had before income taxes came along, with Presidents with names like Washington, Jefferson, Adams and Lincoln.

Ladies and gentlemen were are dealing with a very mentally disturbed individual. Clearly father abandonment issues more than likely mommy abandonment issues and self loathing. It's going to get very weird as 0bama realizes that the election is lost. I'm most concerned what will happen in after the election. Hopefully there are sane people in power that will stop what I fear he will do.

Obama has no clue what it means to be an American or understand what's made America great. He does'nt like what it is that has made America great, & his job is to remake America in the image of the marxist a-holes who influenced his mindset.
It is his job and he was hired by certain people to do that job.

Peggy Noonan's 3/30 column in the WSJ says what we have been saying but in a more polite and civil way but no less damning good stuff and ties in with the pablum uttered by BHO.

That is a good article. She is right at this point in time, only the unthinking and the ideologists will still support Obama and not see what he is doing. Someone like Bill O'Reilly at first didnt quite understand Obama and what he was doing. It seems strange that Obama would do things that are so obviously wrong, now his eyes are starting to open a bit and he is questioning Obama's motives more. However it is going to be a while before people who were into give Obama chances are actually done with that.
Most of us don't like to admit it when we are wrong.
The idea of Obama was nice, but the truth is ugly. He was not the right one to lead, the more people understand that, the more we can move on from his Presidency.
Kimmy, what was the "idea" of Obama? I'm not saying that in a confrontational way, I'm just wondering what part of the illusion you're talking about.
People may disagree, but I think that many people believed that we (the American people) were due a person of color (or a woman) as President. So when Obama came along people ushered to give him the Presidency without checking the guy out first. People voted for the idea of Obama and what he was supposed to represent, not who he really was. That is why he got the peace prize and he did not deserve it.
For some reason (will take to long to speculate) conservative Black people (and other minorities) were not happening (one thing that I am grateful for Obama the surgence of conservative women and people of color in the forefront). So here comes Obama: young(ish), attractive (to some people *vomit*), idealistic, making promises of a better tomorrow. Supposedly going to usher a post race era, he didn't seem so hang up on race especially since he had a white Mother. The idea of a centrist person of color with the beautiful promises and the post racial era is what I am talking about. It is all good on paper but Obama was not it. The truth is ugly becuase obviously Obama was not what he promised he was going to be. He failed on every single one of his promises and he is not the man that OTHERS thought.

Yes, that's true. And it's very sad. Because what we need, in every election, at every time in our history, is a good person in the White House. Be they male, female, hispanic, black, white, or whatever combination they may be. For anyone to think that any of that matters is ridiculous. We needed a good person, and we got s*&t, because so many people voted for color.
The interesting thing is that even white folks voted for him BECAUSE he is (half) Black. The idea of having the white guilt finally assuaged was too much to resist. It failed. The best person for all americans should be President however we cannot forget those in Congress either.
It's funny, this weekend a friend we haven't seen in years came by the house. She flat out stated she voted for Obama for all the wrong reasons and said she is extremely upset by him, buyers remorse I guess. But she went further saying she had done a lot of research, firmly believes Soros is pulling the strings and said if Obama gets reelected she is moving out of Kalifornia and buying a house in the Midwest with a BUNKER. She was dead serious, saying that she voted for Obama because he was 1/2 Black and it was a stupid decision. What changed her mind? Marco Rubio, Herman Cain, a few other conservatives and...ta da!!! IHTM! Which I told her about a long time ago...See this place is good! She WAS a life long democrat, registered Republican now...IHTM changing America one person at a time...:)
A lot of women, and men for that matter, woke up after three years and realized that their one night stand with Obama was so not worth it.

I'll go one step further and make the claim that only a black president in this time could pull the stuff he is pulling and get away with it. No-one dares to call him out or begin articles of impeachment, which I submit would happen if he were blonde and blue-eyed. If he is involuntarily (read into that what you will - one word: Breibart) removed from office, it will only be because "they" decided it will advance "their" cause.
Beck was making some points that Obama needed to watch his back. What I got from that is Obama could be taken out by anyone who could profit from it even his own party. Glenn Beck has been maligned but I think that he had a point.

Obama was a failed experiment and in all truth we should be ashamed, although I dont want to be because I did not vote for him.
"government investments"? Government is not in a position to make investments without the approval of those who provide government the money. More Government does not improve things we have seen this happen again and again.
If big governments and big government spending make a country great than North Korea and the old Soviet Union should be models for the world to emulate. Sadly, I think Obama believes this to be true. He's an economic and political imbecile who should be teaching at some silo college in Minnesota rather than sitting in the White House overseeing the ruination of the country.
We have to work for change this November.
