$9 billion in “stimulus” for solar, wind projects made 910 final jobs – $9.8 million per job. To paraphrase Dennis Prager, what’s the difference between the Obama administration and the Titanic? The passengers of the Titanic didn’t call the iceberg a “stimulus.”

Bonfire, you are a riot... what a great line about the iceberg!
Actually, Dennis Prager had it first:
OK, riddle fans, here’s a toughie: What’s the difference between California voters and the passengers on the Titanic?
The passengers on the Titanic didn’t vote to hit the iceberg.
I thought I heard it somewhere but couldn't figure out where until today. Give credit where it's due.
Dang... I am in the wrong racket...
Eunikorns come from Eutopia. Sounds like more outsourcing to me.
These stimulating dollars, do you suppose a few hundred million paid for this and the several others like it we're likely to see in the near future? - It is a link to a yahoo article, so posting involves a quick two step procedure... http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/technology-blog/study-u-could-powered-80-green-energy-2050-033647013.html

Study: The U.S. could be powered by 80% green energy in 2050
But at what cost? 2-3x what we are paying now?
It's hard enough to swallow the $214 electric bills we are getting now, especially when using the same amount of electric used to cost us $110 a month!
How are the poor going to pay their bills? Oh, I know, they won't, we will!
BTW, the reason we pay so little for electric is where I live we have an electric co-op. It's a non profit company.
Although it WAS a bit of a stimulus when Kate Winslet took her clothes off!
When? Where?
What a bargain!!!! It also supplied a lot of work for the Bankruptcy courts and Lawyers as well.
So I started reading the story and find out the 910 jobs are only a computer projection; nobody actually counted the jobs(that would be too much like work for government employees). So for all we really know - there weren't any jobs created! The $9 billion dollars, however, was successfully spent by the BO campaign contributors who received it.
Well, there's the guy that did the computer projection.
Where can I go to get one of those $9.8 million jobs? I could retire after a year or two, which is likely longer than the company will survive based on past history!
