90% of top newspapers leave “Muslim” and “Islam” out of Monday headlines… over front page stories about Muslim terrorists attacking a mall in Kenya and Muslim suicide bombers blowing up a Christian church in Pakistan. Apparently the religion of the perpetrators was deemed irrelevant… and let’s be honest, who knows more about irrelevant than newspapers?

Agreed. That is one of the reasons why I am very unhappy with Christians in this country, who don't want to know about the Persecution that Christians around the world are under. It is too sad and too depressing and they would rather not know about it. Christians here we are not going to be safe from persecution when it is our turn especially when a good number are just blinded and deaf to the reality. Our lack of knowledge on the realities of this world is the reason why people like Obama are in power. We became too complacent and now we are seeing the outcome of it.
Too many Christians are complacent with the teachings that they will be raptured out of this world before the really bad stuff starts to happen. I'm not so keen that there will be a pre-tribulation rapture. Even so we should not just sit back and let evil triumph. I feel the end is close, but it could be another generation or more away. Think about what your kids, and grand kids are going to have to go through if that's the case. I've had Christians tell me "whats the use, it's the way things are meant to be". NO, it's not. We are supposed to work toward getting the Gospel to as many as we can before the judgement. A part of that is preserving the freedom to do so.

There is nowhere in the Bible that the Rapture is prophesied. A couple of verses written during the Roman clamp down on the Jews about the same time the Temp[le was destroyed in Jerusalem. They refer to the Roman habit of just snatching people up. One would be taken, the other left behind. I'm afrais I don't believe in the Rapture, so maybe that's why I am concerned about the trend to ake Christians targets all over the world. Even here in the good ol' USA believing Christians are portrayed as mildly (or worse) insane, uneducated, ignorant, and believers in fairy tales. And we just sit and take it.
That's the problem and why, I believe, that Obama was able to win a second term. The good people felt that they would just wait for the rapture to save them, but thy are allowing evil to continue to grow. If everyone would resist the evil, then we would have a better chance of making a difference and possibly turning things around.
