So, Bobo the Idiot King is a laughing-stock who has alienated and gravely insulted our staunchest allies? Next, you'll tell me that jumping into a lake will make me wet.
This brings up another point.
I have been doing a completely unscientific and impromptu poll of every military person or spouse I have been meeting.
To a person, I have yet to meet anyone that likes King Barky. They all have told me that the military is anxiously waiting for him to leave office.
I brought up the idea of martial law, and was greeted with some very reassuring commentary. Basically, they agree that they would consider it an UNlawful order, and refuse to fire on civilians. They also have brought up the consideration of being greatly outnumbered and outgunned.
One thing you simply can't do is to make a patriot fire on friends and family.
Yet most of them voted for Obama. Perhaps war weary and wanted the war to end, not sure about the second time around if he enjoyed such support from military, but definitely got support the first time around.
With that said yes a lot are now pissed off, especially because benefits are being messed up, and there are lot of issues with morale especially with the gay stuff.
All I know is the military better stand on the side of justice here, because if they don't they will regret it. There will be another civil war and this time it won't be for just cause.
That's exactly what I heard from all the guys I ran across when I lived near 29 Palms. They said they'd rather turn around and fire on the one giving the order. I'm hoping that's the way it would work.

Last night, I had my rocking unicorn entertaining the crowds at the Roseville Vampire Ball. Had a great time, made a little money.
One gentleman that went for a ride with his lady was wearing a set of Marine desert camo fatigues. Since he had the required buzz-cut, I told him that I assumed it wasn't just a Halloween costume. I was right. I shook his hand and thanked him. I told him that it was a job a lot of people wouldn't want right now. He looked knowingly into my eyes and nodded his head.
It would have been reassuring to you if you had the time to talk more in depth with him. I'm sure he would have voiced sentiments similar to those I have been hearing.
About the only qualities Quagmire has is being able to lie with a straight face, highly unusual for someone who's a vengeful narcissistic crybaby.
