PLEASE don't link NYT stories! Because I always poke around and find something that pi##es me off. This time it was an insane diatribe about Dallas having to come to terms with being the city that killed Kennedy and the seething hotbed of Hate it was then and still is.
Not a whisper of the fact that it was a Communist who did it, and of course, the chickensh## coward that writes the column doesn't allow any feedback.

The CIA and Pentagon are fighting the State Dept. on this? Basically our military ( the brain ) versus our current administration (our tweet wittle heart ). They want to allow this because obama wants to mend ties with Putin? Putin has made it clear to the entire world that obama is a petty little cun* masquerading as a President. Giving this to Putin won't change that, it will give him better targeting capabilities.
And here I hadn't seriously contemplated nuclear war since the 80s, up until the last 6 months or so that is.
Really, if they want to improve their GPS system, let them launch satellites, why do they need terrestrial stations here?
I think the terrestrial stations tell the satellites where the earth is like lighthouses tell ships where the coast is. I was wondering why they couldn't build them in Mexico instead and decided Mexico is probably too dangerous for the KGB.
I would be worried that they would tell the NSA about things they found and the NSA missed!
