ACA offers Americans more opportunities to get… swindled

ACA offers Americans more opportunities to get… swindled. “State and federal authorities report a rising number of consumer complaints, ranging from deceptive sales practices to identity theft, linked to the ACA.” “Deceptive sales practices”… seems like there’s a lot of that going around these past few years, eh?

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

  • " rising number of consumer complaints, ranging from deceptive sales practices to identity theft, linked to the ACA.”

And then there the people who DON'T work for the government.

  • Well, it's kinda hard to feel sorry for a person who voted for Quagmire twice and is a card carrying member of AARP, but even they don't deserve to be lied to with such aplomb, for well over three years. Who's actually the biggest swindler here...?

  • MC: IIRC At the end of the republic they will loot the treasury.

PH: Or campaign boots on the ground. NAACP, ACORN (in it's various new forms), OFA, and all other LEFTIST COMMUNITY DEMOCRAT PARTY DESTROYER GROUPS.
    Money laundering, plain and simple.

    • PH, let's use logic to figure this out:

      1) Most swindlers are democrats
      2) Many swindlers are bundlers that raise money for Obama
      3) All Obama campaign bundlers are swindlers

Looks like a pretty high number

      • So Quagmire should have said "If you like your swindler, you can keep them"? Be the closest to the truth he's ever uttered.

  • On the bright side only 50,000 people have signed up so figure 10 times that have given all their personal info to the cACA navigators, so that is only 500,000 people that will get their identity stolen. According to King Barky the Liar, that is a super small percentage of Americans.....particularly when you consider that 5 million or more have signed up for medicaid....securely.
