I live a long way from any kind of city that may have a Texas Roadhouse but if I ever see one I'll be sure to stop and say hello. The folks in Chattanooga showed a pride in country and our military that is sadly missing in daily life.
Yea, things like that have the same effect on me. It's hard to explain it to anyone that never served. I can't really even explain it to myself, but there is something about seeing a brother in arms get hurt, that just puts a knife in my heart. Seeing the kind of respect for them that is shown by Texas Roadhouse, also brings a tear to my eye, but it's a tear with a smile behind it.
With all the complaining we do around here, it is really a high to find positives ;like this. I felt the same way as you did when I saw it. I never was in the military, but I have tons of friends and relatives who have been. I sent it to a lot of them and got a lot of thank you's.... And thank you for the compliment, Makes my whole day.
Has always been my and one of my sons favorite steak restaurant. Even more so now.
