The reason that the glo-bull warmistas starting coming up with these goofy names is simple. Public edukachshen has become such a farce that a very large number under 30 years old is basically too stupid to THINK FOR THEMSELVES. They were NEVER taught things like math, science and HISTORY (the REAL KIND). Given the fact they don't have the capacity to understand what is going on around them, the left & the media (I know I repeat myself) toss out these weird meaningless names and it scares the pants off them & into believing this crap.
This will NEVER be fixed until we take the unions out of our schools and the schools out of DC and put them back into the hands of the States.
Just for my own peace of mind, (so to speak) didn't they call this very type of STORM and EXTREME COLD in the northeast U.S. a NOR'EASTER just a very, very few short years ago?

Gone are blizzards, lake effect snow storms and cold snaps. Polar vortexes(vortices?), super storms and now a bomb cyclone. We can no longer deny climate change is real because bomb cyclones didn't exist before this year. You can't make this stuff up folks.

LMOAO...One thing about El Gordo, he is consistent! The poor yanks are getting dumped on and the cold is terrible. Meanwhile out here in the southwest we are seeing spring like temperatures and very little snow or rain. Looking at things 5 years ago the southwest had record snowfalls and terrible cold periods while the yanks were enjoying spring like weather.
