Anyone filing out paperwork to get $500.00 of Obama's stash is not in a position of having to worry about identity theft. I certainly wouldn't want their identity.
And there were black slave owners throughout the south, especially in New Orleans. One cannot judge past events on today's standards. It was accepted behavior then. There is STILL slavery going on across the planet. The current descendants of black slaves should take the privilege of no longer being enslaved to show what a mistake and tragedy slavery was. Instead, they whine, cry, and shoot themselves in the foot at every opportunity. I think the civil rights workers of the 50's and 60's are rolling over in their graves to look at how the current generation is treating what they laid down their lives for.

sa_rose, that is one of the truest statements I have read in a long time. One of my great-great grandfathers was a slave owner in eastern Texas and now it is my fault? Civil rights workers, both black and white, were killed all across the south when I was a child and now it is my fault?
That is what I cannot stand about the Sharptons and Jacksons in our society. They are the race baiters. They are the ones lining their pockets by spreading hate and fear. They, like most liberals, are the first ones to whip out the race card like it was a joker in the card deck. They are the real racists in our country, not the average working joe trying to earn a living.
Someone should ask Al about this little known historical fact. It's the story of the first recorded slave owner in America. It was in Virginia in the year 1654. The slave owner was Anthony Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a black man.
