Bashir attacked the democrat party's favorite target. Baldwin slurred one of the party's voting blocks, which are also a wing of their brownshirts. Naturally the democrat party makes an example of those that do not speak properly and protects those that do.
Just think about what would have happened had a conservative talk-show host use that type of obscene imagery towards an icon of the left, it would have been front page news on every lame-stream media outlet for the next two years.

It is a good point. It is a fair point. It is actually and intelligent point. Martin Bashir DID say a TRULY disgusting statement by any moral person's standards ON AIR. Even if they want to say that it wasn't because of the gay statements and it was because of the lady with cancer and thing, ALL of that happened OFF AIR. So yes Bashir should not have a job and Baldwin should have been able to keep his, with a warning to shape up outside of the TV. That is not what happened because like DT said it is easy to hate on some group of people, whereas others not so easy. Therefore Alec you outta luck baby...

Make disgusting on air comments about a conservative and all your pals will circle the wagon. Make an ugly comment about someone in the protected category (gays) in your private life and you get the big ol pink slip.
