      • I understand it is a joke... However the description of G-D is faulty. I am not a Republican, but not sure that is a good representation of (the true) Republican cause.

        The last part... it is not at all difficult to get into G-D's home/paradise, people just make it difficult for themselves, EVERYONE is invited, but only a few will accept the invitation.

        In any case... perhaps he is making a description based on people's opinion of Democrats and Republicans not as they actually are.

        I always believe that if something is truly quality, it is going to take time and effort to acquire it and a person becomes joyful and appreciative of getting it. If something is cheap and easily accessible it is not as prized nor appreciated. I think that humanity has a thing where it would rather have things come easy and cheaply, if it means not having to work hard for it.

  • Wasn't she supposed to have been on her way out? I heard that they were thinking of changing her. What happened to that? This demonstrates that she shouldn't have that position.

    She had what 3-5 days to prepare for that question to be asked again. She is either a stupid woman, or she assumed that nobody else would ask her since the media is in the pocket and they saw that she struggled with the question (which is still a stupid move) or she doesn't want to lie (but she still could have come up with a satisfactory answer).

  • The Communist Party USA answered this question long ago.

    They stopped running candidates in presidential (and probably all) elections. They explained that there's no need to, since the Democrat party has adopted their platform.

    • I maybe giving her too much credit... but she maybe aware of that. She may not want to distance herself from them. It seems to me that she doesn't want to bring division within the Democratic party. She was concentrating on the Republican party. I don't know what possessed Chris Matthews to ask the question, but it was a good question.

      • Absolutely she's aware of the implications that an honest answer has. If there's one thing these guys know, is how to manipulate. And I don't doubt that she knows full well that an honest answer will be all over Republican campaign ads.

        Or at least we'd like to think so.

      • I know this is a stretch, but is it possible that Chris Matthews suddenly decided that he should do his job? Not the job that the DNC pays him off to do, plug the Dems, but actually being an impartial journalist?

        NAH, I was right, it's too much of a stretch.

        • As for Chris "Tingles" Matthews, I don't give him that much credit. I think HE is arrogant enough to think that pointing out that Hillary's "democrat" platform and Bernie's "socialist" platform are the same is a good thing, and that the result would be everyone realizing what a good thing socialism really is.

        Maybe the real reason the CPUSA stopped running candidates is because all the potential candidates joined the Dem’s
