Since I was always the "new kid" I have seen my share of being bullied. One good fight (win or lose) ALWAYS put an end to it.
However, ya just can't do that any more.
I suspect th e incidence i s much higher than reported. Guys are even less likely to report rape than girls and fear of reprisal would keep most quiet.

After reading the ENTIRE article, I noticed that there were a number of instances of guys sticking their fingers in the hazee's butt. I'm sorry, but you don't do that unless you're gay.
It would be fair to say that some of the perpetrators maybe in the closet or "confused" and are trying things out. Fine to try things on willing participating peers, not fine to try things out by force and as a way of punishment. It is very possible that there are some that are gay as well and acting like any other rapist. All in all I don't care as much that they all should be shot, but if shooting them is not an option then put them in prison where they belong.

Even though I am not a hater of gays, how is THIS BEHAVIOR not a direct INFLUENCE on the gay lifestyle being everywhere now? Where did I say that the boys doing this were gay? I think it is an argument to be made that the openness of gay behavior could have influenced this behavior regardless of the perpetrators sexual inclinations. A lot of rapes in the prisons the men would say they aren't gay either and go back to living heterosexual lifestyles once out. So again I have no idea where you got the sense that I said this is about the rapists being gay, however I do disagree with you on the first sentence, I do believe this has a lot to do with the mainstreaming of homosexuality in our culture. Just like in Ancient Rome.. just like in Ancient Rome...

I was referring to the hazers, not the hazees. The hazers aren't gay. They are giving a warning about who is in charge. As you said, much like prison. Rapes to establish power and location on the food chain. Sorry if I confused you.
I am not saying that anyone is gay in this situation. What I am saying is that the gay agenda being open in society could have definitely influenced this behavior. No where did I say that the people involved, victims nor perpetrators were gay. Just that the gay lifestyle being so open in society could have easily influenced this behavior. If it is true as you stated above explaining poppa's story, that this type of behavior according to two gay men didn't happen before (or to this degree), then regardless of the desire to establish power and so on, the difference is that now the gay lifestyle is so established in society that it could have influenced this wave of rape from boys to other boys (again regardless of their sexual orientation).

I am concernedabout the effects that a small minority of people us having onthe ulture as a whole. I just don'tthinkiunthis case it is necessarily the cause. Maybe the overall moral relativity is, but not gays in general. There is a difference in both sexes between having sex to gether and sexual assault.
I don't recall rapes of this nature happening in this manner and throughout different areas of lives. My Mother has told me that there are A LOT of male on male rapes that it has become alarming in the military and there was a report about this to confirm it. If boys and men were to tell their stories I am sure even more of this would be happening and the spike could be lead back to the OPENNESS of the lifestyle in the mainstream culture regardless of the limited number of people that actually do live that lifestyle. With all of that said like I said before it doesn't mean they are gay or anyone is gay just that the culture being affected by the lifestyle can create rapists who use that as a method of control. We would need a study but I think I am right, but overall it doesn't matter it is all gross.

The gay lifestyle is indeed everywhere. I was at a party last night - a reunion with a lot of old friends and their kids who are now in their 20s and fresh out of college. Everything to them is about homosexuality. Everything.
I've noticed a big push in the 20-somethings right now. They make a strident point to bring up homosexuality, because they view it as the topic that makes them "greater" than their parents. Sort of a "We're the generation that made being gay OK!" And, as I say, they CONSTANTLY bring it up. Just out of the blue it's "Gays are so cool!" And you're left wondering, "Where the hell did THAT come from?"
LOL!! 20 somethings bring it up because it isn't a big deal to them what another person does in their sex life or who they have sex with. They don't think they are "greater" than their parents. They more than likely have gay friends and that means they have a hard time understanding a generation that is so hush-hush about it. :)

I'm not sure what the point is from that story, but I will say that gay children should be protected from bullying. ALL children should be protected from bullying. Too many of our children are committing suicide because of constant bullying in school and the problem isn't like it was when I went to school. Back then, you could stand up for yourself (which at the worst involved a fistfight) and you would get left alone. It's much worse today. Kids threaten with guns and knives and humiliate with social media.
